Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Using VERSUS

VERSUS is a social platform for Challenges, Responses, Duels, voting, comments, follows and reputation. Use the service lawfully and follow these Terms, the Community Guidelines and Challenge Safety Rules.

2. Age requirement

The ordinary VERSUS account baseline is 13+. Additional age requirements may apply under local law. Teen accounts may receive stronger privacy, contact and recommendation protections.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate others, create deceptive accounts, or use automation to manipulate the service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you create, subject to the rights VERSUS needs to host, process, display and recommend that content as part of the service. Only upload material you have the right to use.

5. Challenges and safety

A Challenge appearing on VERSUS is not a guarantee that it is safe, legal or appropriate. Do not create or participate in Challenges that create a material risk of serious harm.

6. Fair competition

Do not buy or fake votes, likes, followers or engagement; operate fake-account networks; automate voting; or exploit technical flaws to manipulate rankings, reputation or results.

7. Moderation

VERSUS may limit recommendations, age-restrict, remove content or restrict accounts to enforce platform rules, protect users or comply with law. Where appropriate, affected users can appeal in the product.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how VERSUS processes account, activity, media and technical information. Accepting these Terms is not a substitute for separate consent where law requires it.

9. Account deletion

You can schedule account deletion from Settings. VERSUS currently provides a 30-day recovery period; signing in again during that period cancels the deletion request.

10. Changes

VERSUS may update the service and these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be versioned and communicated where required.

Beta notice: final operator identity, legal address, governing law and jurisdiction-specific clauses will be added before general public launch. The registration policy gate remains disabled until those details are finalized.
